These draft rules describe the tournament demonstration currently available on Public Transport Trivia. They do not offer a paid or cash-prize competition.

1. What is available now
Daily Transport Time-Attack is a demonstration using play money. The displayed £1.00 entry, entrant count, 85% player prize pool, 15% platform share and any winnings are simulated figures. No payment is taken, no real prize is awarded, and the mock balance cannot be withdrawn, exchanged or transferred. The mock pool and rival entries are stored on your device and are not a shared cash fund.
2. How a run works
Each Time-Attack run draws up to 10 different questions from the active UK transport question bank. There are 15 seconds to answer each question. A correct answer scores 100 points plus 10 points for each second remaining when the answer is chosen. A wrong answer or timeout scores zero for that question. Only one answer can be selected per question in a run; after completing a run, you can start another.
3. Demo entry and outcome
Selecting “Pay Entry & Play” deducts £1.00 of play money from the device-only wallet. As a spending safeguard, each player is limited to 5 paid entries per calendar day across the daily pool and paid private rooms combined; once the limit is reached, further entries are blocked until the next day. The limit is tracked against your account, so it applies across all your devices, and you must be signed in to enter. Mock funds can be added without payment. When that run ends, a score above the stored demonstration leader score triggers a simulated credit of the displayed mock prize pool to that wallet. This is not a binding prize award, and a high score does not create an entitlement to money or goods. Other players’ real scores are not used for this mock payout.
4. Fair play
Play honestly. Do not use automated tools, interfere with other players’ access, exploit errors, or submit answers or scores that were not earned in the ordinary game. Scores submitted to the current leaderboard are not independently verified for cash-prize purposes; the leaderboard must not be treated as a determination of a real winner.
5. Future competitions
No free postal entry route is available or advertised as operating today. Before any real-prize or paid competition launches, separate event-specific rules would need to identify the promoter, who may enter, any age and location restrictions, opening and closing times, all entry methods and costs, any genuinely available free-entry route, the fixed prize and its value, winner selection and tie-breaks, notification and claim deadlines, delivery or payment arrangements, complaints process and how any platform fee works. Such a competition would also require independent UK legal review; describing a contest as skill-based does not establish its legal classification.
